His Excellency Bishop Iyad Twal and the Apostolic Nuncio to Jordan, Archbishop Giovanni Pietro Dal Toso, visited those injured in the terrorist attack that targeted the Greek Orthodox Church of Saint George in the town of Hammoud, Karak Governorate. The visit included the Italian Hospital, the Military Hospital and the Government Hospital, where they checked on the condition of the injured and wished them a speedy recovery.

Bishop Twal and the Apostolic Nuncio also offered their condolences to the families of the victims at the house of mourning, and visited the Church of Saint George in Hammoud, as a gesture of solidarity and an expression of the Church’s closeness to the grieving families and the local community in this painful tragedy.
