On Wednesday, August 26, 2026, His Excellency Bishop Iyad Twal, accompanied by Fr. Dr. Firas Nasrawin, General Director of the Latin Patriarchate Schools in Jordan, and Fr. Khaled Qamouh, Secretary General of the Latin Vicariate, conducted an official visit to the Latin Patriarchate Secondary School in Fuheis on the occasion of the beginning of the 2026–2027 academic year.

They were welcomed by Fr. Ibrahim Nino, parish priest; Ms. Arwa Al-Makhamreh, principal of the Fuheis Secondary School; and Ms. Dara Baqain, principal of the Fuheis Elementary School.

During the morning assembly, Bishop Twal addressed the students and educational staff, welcoming them and wishing them a blessed and fruitful academic year filled with excellence, success, and achievement.

The visit also included a tour of the school’s facilities, during which the delegation reviewed the progress of the educational process and the preparations made to welcome the students. The atmosphere reflected a spirit of love, belonging, and optimism at the beginning of the new academic year.
